One of the key features of Rapport is it's flexibility, and the ease with which a single solution can be modified to meet your requirements.
You can choose how members join your community: sign up can be Open (anyone can join), Approved (your approval is required to activate account) and Closed (accounts must be created on behalf of a person).
As well as having the option to have the user confirm their email address when they sign up you can choose whether to set a minimum age
users must confirm when they create an account.
A user's access to view or create different types of content is determined by the security role you assign them, giving you
enormous flexibility to customise your user's experience. This means, for example, that all users can create photo albums, but only you or your staff can create Video Galleries.
The look and feel of the site can be customized to your requirements and Rapport allows you to easily include additional
modules at any time.
Multiple communities can easily be given distinct looks and still be centrally managed. This means that your company's multiple brands
can be cross-promoted and customer data centralised.
Membership of individual User Groups can be set to Open, Approval Required or Assigned.
If a user is not a member of an Assigned or Approval Required Group then they cannot view any associated content.
For example, if you create a VIP group where membership must be approved then the events, videos and photo albums
for this group will only be visible to VIPs.
User Groups can further be assigned a Group Manager and Group Assistants responsible for the content within that Group, allowing you to
distribute management of the site in a controlled, organised manner.
